Schones Feuer is a water vapour fireplace manufacturer, on the market for more than 5 years, doing all product design and engineering in-house.
To better position themselves on the market and bring the company image in line with the products on offer, they tasked Bad Reputation with creating a modern and inviting space that would showcase the steam fireplaces' advantages, as well as provide a single environment for the salespeople to interact with customers and perform everyday office tasks.
Fireplaces are a great way to bring people together so it was decided from the start that the client zone and the office zone would seamlessly blend into each other, facilitating communication between the visitors and the staff as well as making the product presentation less formal.
Fireplaces are also made for people to sit down and relax and have an impromptu conversation by the fire. Consequently, the focal point is an area inviting the guests to do just that. Soft fabrics, wood and unobtrusive metal elements, all unite together to form a warm, cozy, yet sophisticatedly modern environment that welcomes to meld into and relax.
A key challenge was to show most efficiently all the different ways to integrate a fireplace into one's office or home, and it was solved by thoughtfully positioning the different models along the perimeter of the showroom. All of them are easy to casually observe from the client area.
The office part is separated from the client zone with a medium-height fireplace installation which also serves to unobtrusively mask the three workplaces. Felt noise-absorbing baffles separate the desks, creating a comfortable work environment.
In the limited space all storage had to be highly functional. One of the cabinets serves as a wardrobe for guests and managers, the other houses a water dispenser, a coffee maker and utensils.
